In 1955, Veronika Pouch (sitting third from the left), born in Vilnius in 1914, was in the Seida sovkhoz in the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Veronika joined the Home Army in 1942, where she served as a liaison officer under the pseudonym “Drone”. The Soviets arrested her on 10 September 1945 and sent her to a labour-camp. Until 1954, she was imprisoned in camps in the Arkhangelsk region: in Yercevo, Ostrovnoye and in Vorkuta. After her release, she was sent to work at the Seida sovkhoz, where she stayed until 1956.
