Architectural Accessibility

Sybir Memorial Museum, ul. Węglowa 1, 15-121 Białystok

The functional structure of the Sybir Memorial Museum is based on a symbolic path. Access to the building’s interior is provided via a ramp with a slope of up to 6%, leading from the square to the entrance.

All floors are accessible via elevators designed to accommodate wheelchairs.

Restrooms for persons with disabilities are available on all visitor-accessible floors.

Designated parking spaces for guests with disabilities are available in front of the building

Visitors can enter the building and all exhibition spaces with an assistance dog or guide dog.

Communication and Information Accessibility

A sign language interpreter via electronic communication is not available.

The permanent exhibition can be explored using an audio guide, which provides spoken content in multiple languages: Polish, English, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Spanish, Italian, German, and French.

  • A sign language version is available for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors.
